A century after the debut of its first Supersports, Bentley is bringing the iconic nameplate back. The new Bentley Supersports is only the fourth model to wear the badge and arrives as the most focused and fierce Continental GT yet.
The Supersports story began in 1925 with the first Bentley capable of exceeding 160 km/h, of which only 18 examples were produced. The name returned in 2009 and 2017 for the first and second generation Continental GTs, each signalling a sharper and more exclusive interpretation of Crewe’s luxury grand tourer.
Based on the current Continental GT, the latest iteration becomes the first rear-wheel-drive version of the model and the lightest Bentley since 1940, tipping the scales at under 2,000 kg. At its core is a newly strengthened 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 with a reinforced crankcase, uprated cylinder heads and larger turbos, producing 657 hp and 800 Nm of torque. It sends the Supersports from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and on to a top speed of around 310 km/h. A recalibrated ZF eight-speed dual clutch transmission, equipped with uprated clutches and a more aggressive shift strategy, keeps power delivery sharp and consistent.
This is also the most aerodynamically aggressive Continental GT yet, featuring a vast carbon fibre front splitter, dive planes, new sills, fender blades, a rear diffuser and a fixed rear wing that generates more than 300 kg of additional downforce over a GT Speed. The roof is now carbon fibre as well, reducing weight and lowering the centre of gravity.
Bentley trades traditional grand touring comfort for a more driver-focused two-seat layout. Deeply bolstered sports seats sit lower in the cabin, while the rear section becomes a carbon fibre and leather shell. Customers can choose from monotone, duo tone or tri tone interiors, all featuring leather, Dinamica and carbon fibre.
Only 500 individually numbered examples will be built, with orders opening in March 2026 and deliveries beginning in early 2027.
