Inside The Box
Ducati Pandora

It’s common knowledge among motorcyclists that nothing is ever quite good enough straight out the box. Maybe it’s because if you ride a motorcycle to begin with, you’re probably a bit of an individualist. You don’t really like shopping malls, you don’t buy off-the-rack, and you sure as hell don’t line up at rush hour behind all the other cars.

You need your ride to be unique, first and foremost, regardless of generally accepted (boring!) standards of practicality, safety, or common sense.

Enter the Ducati Pandora by Young Guns Speed Shop. Based on the Monster 1200s (which apparently wasn’t enough of a beast already), this minimalist looker is the best of past and present.

Look at the nod to sports liveries from the 70s. Look at that menacing, angular, all-business profile. Look at the seat: the rider is almost an afterthought, the bike is almost saying “I can get along fine without you, grazie.”

As the name suggests, the Pandora is all about temptation. Maybe you don’t want to open this box, maybe this is too much for you to handle. But guess what? This track-ready prototipo is for sale. Just beware of what you wish for.
