Montblanc TimeWalker Rally Timer 100

Montblanc’s chronographs enjoy an exceptional status thanks to Minerva’s rich heritage in the timekeeping field. Minerva developed the 1/5 second chronograph as early as 1911 and continued to develop the 1/10 second or even 1/100 second chronograph, making it a leading player through out the 20th Century.

The Montblanc TimeWalker Collection has gradually switched to using the high quality movements manufactured in Minerva’s Villeret location. Limited to 18 examples, the TimeWalker Chronograph 1000 features the calibre MB M66.26 mechanical movement that measures elapsed time to the 1/1000th of a second. Inside there is a separate 18,000 vibrations per hour balance for the time functions in addition to the chronograph balance wheel beating 360,000 times per hour. The watch has a power reserve of 100 hours and the chronograph can run for 45 minutes. The Chronograph Rally Timer Counter, limited to 100 examples, is inspired by the dashboard design of vintage race cars, while the case of the watch can be used separately as a stopwatch or a clock. Underneath the retro design it features the calibre MB M17.29 mechanical movement that beats 18,000 times per hour. Other models with comparatively simpler functions, such as Date Automatic, Chronograph Automatic and Chronograph UTC are also available within the collection.
