LEGO has created plenty of realistic model cars for the adult market, so it is good to see the company has come up with the LEGO Technic Audi RS Q e-tron remote-controlled model car — an equally tasteful product that kids can easily build too.

The Audi RS Q e-tron LEGO car is based on the electric car that Audi specifically used for conquering the desert conditions in the 2022 Dakar Rally. As it is targeted for kids aged 10 and over, the set is slightly simpler with just 914 pieces, and young users can follow the 3D instructions with zoom in and rotation inside the LEGO Builder app for for a better understanding on the engineering. Yet, it doesn’t mean this model is less faithful to the real car or less fun.

Measuring over 15 cm high, 37 cm long and 19 cm wide, the set includes individual suspension on each of the four wheels, while brand new LEGO Technic wheel element was created for this model following the wheel design of the actual Audi car. Once completed, builders can use the dedicated CONTROL+ app to test their rally car, steering and driving it forward and backward conveniently for all the actions.
