A Stunning Replica
LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sian FKP 37

The Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 was first presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show last September. Only 63 examples of the automaker’s very first hybrid supercar, powered by a V12 engine and electric motor, are being released. The upcoming LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 should be much easier to get, though.

The LEGO Technic series is nothing new, of course, with previous models including Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Bugatti Chiron. Although those were great kits, the latest example has taken things to the next level. It’s LEGO’s first 1:8 model car and comes in a luxury box inspired by the lines and shade of the hybrid supercar. Once the 3,696 pieces are put together, the model car is over 60cm long, 25cm wide, and 13cm tall. The fact that it has an 18+ age suggestion gives a good indication as to the set’s complexity.

The supercar’s scissor doors are perfectly recreated and open in the same way as the real thing. It also features a moveable rear spoiler, front and rear suspension, steering wheel complete with the Automobili Lamborghini badge, as well as a V12 engine with movable pistons and 8-speed working gearbox. Under the hood, there’s an overnight bag and a unique code which unlocks special online content.

Priced at US$379.99, the LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sian kit will be available on lego.com and Lego stores on 1 June, after which it will arrive at official retailers globally on 1 August.
