Porsche Design 911 Soundbar
Roaring on the desk.

In order to be ready for the GT races of naturally aspirated engine models, Porsche released their 911 Carrera’s ultra-high performance version of the 911 GT3 in 2003. Embedded with a naturally aspirated parallel six-cylinder engine, which has a 3.6 liter carriage and a maximum of 360 horsepower, it can go up to a speed of 9, 000 revolutions per minute, allowing the car to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour within just 3.5 seconds, and delivering a top speed of 315 km per hour.

For some people, the information above might just appear to be a bunch of numbers, but for true car fans, especially for those who are particularly interested in naturally aspirated engine models and those who are diehard fans of the 911 rear-wheel drive, these numbers are the key to the wave of symphonic notes created by this race car on the track. To emphasize on their passion on this classic model, Porsche Design has just released their latest desktop wireless speaker 911 Soundbar, where the design uses parts of the original 911 GT3 rear silencer and the twin exhaust on its body. The built-in speakers contain a 2.1 virtual surround and stereo sound unit with a maximum output of 200 Watt, which greatly enhances the thickness of the bass. Its bluetooth 3.0 and Aptx low consumption wireless transmission also guarantees its performance quality.

In addition, the manufacturer has also created a wall shelf using the large rear wing on the 911 GT3; a table clock which imitates the car’s dashboard design; and a wall clock which uses the Turbo 20-inch alloy wheels on the 911 on its body. This series of products have truly transformed the static medium into delivering the rhythms of the race track.
