Flying From The Moon
Moon dust-painted Aston Martin Valkyrie

The Aston Martin Valkyrie is limited to 150 bespoke units, which means that theoretically, each of them will be unique. One lucky owner, Kris Singh (of Instagram handle lamborghiniks), has to make sure his car really stands out by adding real moon dust to the car’s paint work.

The red body paint created by Karosserie has an interesting starting point, even without the moon dust. The shade is matches the iconic shiny, red-lacquered bottom soles of Christian Louboutin heels. Kris Singh has then sourced a verified rock from the moon and it will be ground to dust and added into the Karosserie Lunar Red paint. He also claims on Instagram that his car is the first to feature a paint formula with actual ingredients from space.

The car’s spec is inspired by the official rendering of the Pure spec developed by Aston Martin for future owners. Singh also asked automotive concept designer and renderer Marco van Overbeeke to refine his spec and create some new renderings for this space-related Valkyrie.
