Few names in motoring carry the prestige of Maybach. From the Zeppelins of the 1930s to today’s flagship S-Class, the marque has long been synonymous with power, refinement, and extravagance. Now, Mercedes-Maybach draws a golden line from past to future with the new V12 Edition.
Based on the Mercedes-Maybach S 680, the V12 Edition takes exclusivity to an even higher level. At its heart lies a 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 producing 612 hp and 900 Nm, propelling the 2,365 kg limousine from 0–100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited 250 km/h.
The MANUFAKTUR division has lavished the car with meticulous detail. A two-tone finish in olive metallic over obsidian black with a silver pinstripe takes up to ten days to complete, complemented by five-hole forged wheels in matching olive metallic. A bespoke C-pillar emblem recalls the Maybach Zeppelin, with a “12” medallion in chrome and solid 24-carat gold.
Inside, saddle brown Nappa leather and high-gloss burr walnut trim showcase the craftsmanship, from a diamond-quilted roof liner and golden inlays to a matching trunk mat and the exclusive “1 of 50” badge. Even the Robbe & Berking champagne flutes are silver-plated and engraved for this edition.
Strictly limited to just 50 cars worldwide, the Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition begins deliveries this autumn.
