In this design duo, one of them was responsible for the development and the design of the Walkman throughout its history; and the other was responsible for managing the design of the home appliance brand “amadana”, under the company REALFLEET. As they both believe that all home appliances should be beautiful with superior performance, together, Noriyuki Koga and Ken Suzuki had founded the brand CADO in 2011, whereby the brand follows the brand concept of “Technology × Design”. In order to promote their products outside of Japan, the factory has released a range of award winning air purifiers, all achieving the highest CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate). The CADR was developed by AHAM, and is a standard that indicates the volume of air that an air cleaner supplies in one minute. It is also the international standard for measuring the particulate collection performance of air cleaners. They are able to receive the highest rating because the CADO air purifier owns the exclusive R&D “blue photocatalyst technology” (PHOTOCLEA), which uses a highly efficient four-layer filtration system. This system is able to accurately capture bacterias, viruses, allergens, PM2.5 as well as other harmful substances. The CADR not only filters the contaminated air in the room, it also uses “visible light” to break down contaminates into carbon dioxide and water. This means that when the air is being thoroughly cleaned, the self-renewing process is also being implemented, resulting in a longer filter life. Of course, its all-black chassis appearance fully implements the brand’s belief in minimal aesthetics.
Another point worth mentioning is that AP-C700S, the highest model in their range, can remove 99.9% of mold and bacteria from the air in 20 minutes. It can almost completely remove any formaldehyde and odor ingredients from the air in an hour. It is also equipped with a PM2.5 indicator, which calculates the amount of unseen tiny suspended particles and shows the value, so the user can enjoy a peace of mind.
