A Closer Look at the 2019 McLaren Senna

McLaren has revealed more details and pictures of its 2019 Senna supercar, ahead of its official debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show in March.

They call the 2019 Senna “the most extreme McLaren road car yet”. It arrives with a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine producing 789 horsepower at 7,250 rpm and 800 Nm of torque from 5,500 rpm to 6,700 rpm. The supercar sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, and passes 200 km/h in only 6.8 seconds, topping out at 340 km/h. Thanks to its a Monocage III carbon fibre monocoque chassis, lifted from technology used in Formula 1, the Senna weighs a mere 2,641 pounds (1,198 kg) dry.

Only 500 units will be made, each priced at £750,000, and hand-built in England at the McLaren Production Centre, in an arduous process that takes 300 hours per car. Don’t worry about running for the phone, McLaren has already sold all 500 units.

The Senna will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6.
