Rezvani Beast Alpha to be Priced Lower than Expected

When the Rezvani Beast Alpha was first announced at last year’s LA Auto Show, it had a starting price of $200,000. However, the Irvine, California-based car manufacturer has just announced that the Beast Alpha will actually sell at a little under of $100,000, a far more affordable proposition than originally planned.

The car will be selling at a lower price because the Beast Alpha shown in the Auto Show featured all optional equipment, such as the reverse minivan doors and the carbon fiber body panels, which will now cost you a $10,000 and $20,000 as an extra respectively. Moreover, instead of using the 500 hp Honda engine as originally announced, the Beast Alpha will switch to a 400-hp 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder, which is good enough for a 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. It will come in a fibreglass body as opposed to carbon fibre, with a weight of around 2,000 lbs (900kg).

If you are looking for a more powerful Beast Alpha, you might want to consider the Beast Alpha X, which will be powered by a Rezvani/Cosworth 2.5-liter supercharged engine delivering 525 hp, with prices starting at $159,000.
