Celebrating its 25th edition this year, 100% Design is one of UK’s largest and longest-running design trade event. The show will return to Olympia London on 18-21 September, bringing influential people from the industry and innovative design together with over 400 exhibitors showcasing the latest furniture, lighting, textiles, glazing, surfaces, accessories and more.

As always, one of the focuses of 100% Design is to introduce emerging talent in the region. The Design Fresh gathers 30 designers whose work demonstrate how global issues such as climate change, carbon emissions and waste from our lifestyles can be tackled through design.

A new event pavilion is based around the happiest country in the world as voted for the second year – Finland. ‘A Sense of Finland’ allows visitors to experience the sounds, sights, touch, smell and taste of Finland in a specially built eco log house in the middle of London. Calming forest sounds and timber floors serve as the background of some of the best Finnish brands designed with sustainability, well-being and healthy living environments in mind. 

Other highlights include award-winning textile studio Kirkby Design’s recreation of the 1967 Victoria Line tube carriage upholstered in fabrics from its latest collection Underground Volume II fabrics, while Benchmark will showcase the health and well-being centric Sage Collection furniture designed by American architect David Rockwell.
