Welcoming 100 Years Of Le Mans
LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar

LEGO is paying tribute to 100 years of racing at Le Mans this year through a collaborative project with Peugeot — one of the teams competing in the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans happening this June. Developed under the LEGO Technic line, the Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar kit is a truthful replica of the striking race car.

Coming in a precise 1:10 scale, the LEGO model measures over 13 cm high, 22 cm wide, and 50 cm long when built, and the design teams from both companies have done a great job in bringing the elements of the 9X8 to life. The silhouette of the LEGO car follows the real thing closely, even though it only comprises 1,775 pieces, and the glow-in-the-dark light elements add another layer uniqueness to the model.

As in most model sets launched under LEGO Technic, the Peugeot 9X8 features a huge range of very detailed parts. The most impressive piece of this set is the simplified V6 piston engine connected to the rear wheels, which is recreated following the actual 671-hp, twin-turbo 2.6-litre engine found on Hypercar class racer, and it’s paired with a model version of the electric motor and its connected battery. The suspension is specifically designed for this model, while both the steering wheel and the shifter in the cabin are operable.

The LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar set is priced at US$ 199.99 and will be available from 1 May.
