Volante Vision Concept
Aston Martin Volante Vision Concept

After designing the submarine Project Neptune and working on other non-vehicle businesses such as property, Aston Martin returns to surprise us with another concept of a new sector. It is called Volante Vision Concept, a luxury vertical take-off and landing aircraft developed in collaboration with Cranfield University, Cranfield Aerospace Solutions and Rolls-Royce (the jet engine making one).

The Volante Vision Concept has room for three adults and the flying autonomous hybrid-electric vehicle. It offers fast, efficient and mostly importantly congestion-free travel within the city and across. The brand’s Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman who designed models such as DBS Superleggera and Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar is also responsible for the latest concept, using forms and proportions that express the same devotion to design, engineering and beauty that shape the cars. Built with the latest advances in aerospace, electrification and autonomous technologies, it is clearly a concept for the near future. For now, we are in a an era that vertical mobility is no longer a fantasy, and soon we will find luxurious VTOL travel as a solution for our daily commute.
