Valkyrie For The Sea
Aston Martin Project Neptune submarine

It seems that Aston Martin is not satisfied with being just an automaker. In the recent past, the British automaker launched a speedboat, the AM37, but this time they are going much deeper into the sea with Project Neptune.

In collaboration with Florida-based Triton Submarines LLC, Project Neptune employs the submersible specialist’s Low Profile (LP) platform used for the lightest and smallest three-person production submarine in the world. However, Aston Martin gives the platform an entirely new appearance that displays the same sophistication as their motor cars. The rendering shows a sleek, elegant and slightly otherworldly exterior. “We have used forms and proportions that express the same devotion to design, engineering and beauty that shape our cars, such as the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar project,” says Marek Reichman, the brand’s Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer.

Project Neptune is the latest project by Aston Martin Consulting, the division which pushes Aston Martin’s design and engineering expertise beyond the automotive sector and into new aspects of the luxury world. The submersible should be around US$ 4,000,000 with no more than a dozen examples built each year.
