Ultimate Open Roof Driving
Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider

Aston Martin’s Valkyrie is the marque’s ultimate hypercar series, and the recently unveiled open-top Valkyrie Spider is the third model in the exclusive lineup, joining the original coupe and the track-only AMR Pro.

The carbon fibre structure of the Valkyrie Spider has been optimised to allow for the open roof design. The removable lightweight roof comprises a carbon fibre central panel and a pair of polycarbonate roof windows, hinged on the sides. Unlike the coupe, the Valkyrie Spider features front-hinged dihedral doors specifically designed for this model, instead of the usual gullwing doors. The hypercar’s active aerodynamic and active chassis systems have also undergone major recalibration to allow for the modified body shape.

By far the fastest open-top, road-legal Aston Martin ever built, the Valkyrie Spider is equipped with the same hybrid V12 powertrain as the coupe, delivering a combined output of 1,140 hp and 11,000 rpm. The Spider has a top speed of over 330km/ with the roof removed and 350km/h with the roof on.

Aston Martin will only produce 85 examples of Valkyrie Spider, including both left and right-hand drive derivatives, and predictably, the new model has already sold out. Allocations of examples will start soon and the first deliveries can be expected in the second half of 2022.
