As the Tour Auto once again crossed France from Paris to Biarritz this year, Baltic celebrated its fourth consecutive season as official timekeeper with a fitting tribute to classic motorsport timing instruments. The Baltic Rally Timer Tour Auto 2026 is a limited edition of just 300 sets that blends vintage rally aesthetics with mechanical precision.
Rather than focusing on a traditional wristwatch, Baltic has chosen to spotlight two of motorsport’s most recognisable instruments: the stopwatch and the dashclock. Inspired by the historic colours of the Tour de France Automobile, both pieces are finished in a satin light blue tone that immediately recalls period racing equipment and French endurance heritage.
The centrepiece of the set is undoubtedly the mechanical stopwatch, housed in a substantial 60 mm stainless steel case with a double-domed hesalite crystal. Powered by a manual-winding Hanhart 122 movement, it features a flyback function that allows the timer to be reset and restarted instantly, a key feature historically valued in rally stages and circuit timing. With a six-hour power reserve, it is built as much for participation as display.
Alongside it sits the matching dashclock, equally faithful in presentation and designed for quick legibility under driving conditions. Driven by a manual ENLOONG 6497 movement with a 42-hour power reserve, it completes the set as a functional nod to the golden era of analogue motorsport navigation.
