Known for its iconic 6-inch boots, Timberland has teamed up with Japanese streetwear label SOPHNET. for a new “Explore The Unknown” collaborative collection. This time round, SOPHNET.’s designer Hirofumi Kiyonaga has given Timberland’s iconic 6-inch Premium Boots an additional functionality by adding a zipper on the boots’ inner quarter panels for better ease of wear. The collaborative boots also come with a matt black finishing, and pairing with a SOPHNET. logo hang tag done by laser cut that echoes SOPHNET.’s minimal aesthetics.

Meanwhile, their latest “Yoko Giri” collection also creates a new silhouette to the iconic 6-inch boots. Inspired by the iconic Japanese adventure film Seven Samurai from the 1950s, the collection offers a total of 7 new colorways of the Radford Canvas Boot, a boot silhouette that is designed based upon the classic 6-inch boots. A Sensorflex technology has been used in the boots to replace the original rubber sole, while pairing with a EVA footbed to provide enhanced comfortability and durability for long-lasting wear.
