Three Late Additions
Three iconic Ferraris Added to the Quail Lodge Auction

As 2017 marks the 20th anniversary for Bonhams’ Quail Lodge Auction in Carmel, as well as Ferrari’s 70th anniversary as a brand, the auction house has decided to add three significant Ferraris to its August sale during the Pebble Beach Car Week to commemorate these milestones. The selections include the 1963 400 Superamerica Coupé Aerodinamico, the 1972 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider and the 1966 275 GTS by Pininfarina.

The 1963 400 Superamerica Coupé Aerodinamico is a long wheelbase Series II model with coachwork by Pininfarina, which is the 15th of only 18 made. It boasts all matching numbers parts and the highly desirable covered headlights. According to Bonhams, the vehicle is quite possibly the finest 400 Superamerica in existence.

Another legendary Ferrari on the list is the 1972 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider with coachwork by Scaglietti. It was meticulously restored by the late Ferrari guru Wayne Obry and his renowned firm Motion Products. One of 121 made, this model is regarded as one of the most sought after classic Ferraris in the world.

Last but not least, the 1966 275 GTS by Pininfarina with an appealing open-top is in highly original condition, with matching numbers and Ferrari Classiche certification just like the other two.

The auction will be held on Friday, August 18 in Carmel, California. Check out Bonhams’ website for more details.
