The Shadow Black Tribute
2017 Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition

Ford has chosen to rock this year’s Le Mans 24 Hour with a secret weapon – a tribute to their classic award-winning model.

The all-new 2017 GT ’66 Heritage Edition salutes the historic 1966 GT40 Mark II, which in the hands of Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon, won that year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, as their team GT40s followed in second and third place. To celebrate their glorious history, Ford decided to paint their new beast formidable Shadow Black, in both matte and glossy finishes, completed with twin silver stripes and exposed carbon fibre highlights. The ’66 Heritage is fitted with gold satin-finished 20-inch forged aluminium wheels, and ebony leather-covered carbon fibre seats. With the GT ’66 Heritage scheduled for a 2017 limited edition release, interested individuals should contact Ford immediately as these icons are sure to disappear.
