The Next Track Weapon
Mercedes-AMG Concept AMG GT Track Sport

Mercedes has offered a first glimpse of its upcoming Concept AMG GT Track Sport, releasing an initial batch of teaser images. Described by the marque as an uncompromising sports car concept poised to “open another exciting chapter in its performance history,” it promises to set new standards and deliver record lap times.

While details remain limited, the project is still being finalised at the Mercedes-AMG development workshop in Affalterbach, Germany. The teaser shots offer a few tantalising hints. Beneath the cover, the silhouette suggests an aggressive stance capped by a substantial rear wing, while close-up images of the camouflaged bodywork reveal prominent aerodynamic features, including a pronounced front splitter.

Once completed, the Concept AMG GT Track Sport will begin test-track trials and is described as “a preview of a possible expansion of the GT series with a V8 engine.” Since its debut in 2023, the second-generation AMG GT has grown into a family of performance-focused two-door models. Now, all eyes are on whether this track-bred concept will evolve into a road-legal production car aimed squarely at the pinnacle of driving dynamics.
