1974 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 restored with upgraded E-spec

Vintage Jaguars brought us some of the best appearances in automotive history. Many would crave for the Series 1 of E-Type which is the Series 1 for its originality, but a company named E-Type UK has restored a 1974 E-Type Series 3 and boosted up the model both technically and aesthetically.

The company spent 3,000 working hours for this restomod. The original 5.3-litre v12 has been enlarged to 6.1 litres, generating a 284 bhp output and paired excellent sounding stainless steel exhaust. The body has been strengthened, louvers and bonnet extended, and the steering made heavier with the new sports steering rack. The one-off 62-spoke 16-inch Turino wheels surely will catch some attention and inside there are new racing-inspired brakes. The lights have been replaced with LED lighting system with driving running lights.

The E-Type is also equipped with modern features such as Bluetooth connectivity and remote central locking for functionality, and air conditioning and heated seats for comfort. While this particular model has been sold, the company is an E-Type specialist and offer similar restomods on any day.
