Blackbird Concessionaires has chosen one of the world’s most dramatic skylines to welcome Ferrari’s latest sports car in Hong Kong.
Presented against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour, the Ferrari Amalfi is the new 2+ coupé that evolves the Grand Tourer concept and marks the next chapter in Ferrari’s front-mid-engined V8 lineage. Adding star power to the launch evening was Ferrari Official Driver and 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Yifei Ye, whose appearance surprised guests and showcased the Prancing Horse’s motorsport credibility.
As the successor to the Roma, the Amalfi is powered by a 3,855 cc front-mid-mounted twin-turbo V8, part of the award-winning F154 engine family, delivering 640 cv, 760 Nm of torque, a 0–100 km/h time of 3.3 seconds, and a top speed of 320 km/h. Ferrari has introduced refined turbo calibration, an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and active aerodynamics to ensure the Amalfi is as rewarding on a scenic coastal drive as it is on an open stretch of tarmac.
The exterior design of the Amalfi represents a fresh evolution of the 2+ coupé silhouette with a clean, sculpted philosophy. Inspired by the Roma yet more assertively shaped, it features a sleek, monolithic form defined by minimalist surfacing and a wedge-like profile. At the front, the traditional grille is distinguished by a floating body-coloured wing above a dark recessed band that conceals sensors and headlights, while a pronounced lower splitter adds width and purpose. The rear is marked by a strong horizontal character line surrounding a compact tail, with hidden taillights that reference classic Ferraris through a contemporary lens. A wide functional diffuser and a rear screen that blends into the spoiler complete the look. The launch colour, Verde Costiera, highlights the sculptural bodywork with a distinctive coastal-inspired richness.
Inside, Ferrari has innovated again with a dual-cockpit layout featuring a triple-screen interface, physical steering wheel buttons and the return of a red-lit start button. There’s also a choice of Burmester audio, wireless phone integration and a usable 2+ seating configuration to enhance everyday practicality.
