The Modern Nomad Essentials
Square scarf by ITER ITINERIS

We are like migratory birds, since moving has become our habit. We’re somewhat like a modern version of the nomadic group. Resident birds that has lived long in the same region still takes up non-directional and short-distance migrations called drifts. When birds and humans drift, we both secure the minimum amount of material sufficient for our daily needs, a sort of portable counterparts of ourselves. If we look into each basic necessity in life with more detail, the more exquisite we become.

Marco Vedovato, ITER ITINERIS‘ designer lives in Italy, but chose to build his brand in Hong Kong. This place which is in between of Europe and Asia has made flight arrangements convenient. This sort of living habit has become the brand’s distinctive pace: a fresh gentleman style that is created with comfortable tailors and materials. Passionate about Japanese crafts and their high quality fabrics, they provide a softness that meets the needs of outdoor activities, creating a kind of subtle travel living format. These two handwoven square scarves are printed with vine branches all over on one side, and the other geometrical shapes and lines are printed and drawn on the other. Relaxed and simple, the pattern gives off a sense of casual elegance when tied around the neck or folded within the chest pocket.
