The Gerstner Utility Chest is a collaborative product between Best Made and the century old family business H. Gerstner & Sons from Ohio, United States. They have been producing all kinds of boxes using mahogany as their main material since 1906. They also use cherry wood, walnut wood and marble for other products.

This box here uses American cherry wood which delivers beautiful and elegant wood markings. Matched with golden details and a golden handle, one would see that the interior of the drawer is luxuriously lined with red felt. If you were to look close enough, you would realize that the brand name “H. Gerstner & Sons” is engraved onto the bottom of the drawer inside, certifying it as an authentic product.
