The Finest of Miniatures
Rolls-Royce Cullinan 1:8 Scale Model

The level of refinement found on any Rolls-Royce is something most people in the world are very well aware of. From the hulking silhouette, to the meticulously crafted interior, to the pure regality of it all — combined they form a quality piece of mechanical art. Now, the automaker is bringing the same level of craftsmanship to a 1:8 scale model of the Cullinan SUV.

Every detail of the Cullinan is faithfully reproduced in miniature. Each model car is handcrafted from over 1,000 individual components. The process of building the miniature takes up to 450 hours, which is more than half the time required to build an example of the full-sized machine.

The craziest aspect of the entire project is that Rolls-Royce offers bespoke options for many of the areas. For example, clients can choose from a palette of around 40,000 ‘standard’ colours, or replicate their own Bespoke shade. For the interior, things like headrest embroidery, wood finishes, seat piping, and stitching can all be custom ordered, so that existing or future car owners of the Cullinan can have the exact same details in miniature, of their dream car.

The Cullinan-branded remote control allows you to switch on the fully-functioning exterior lights, and the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine is perfectly replicated under the bonnet. All doors open to reveal illuminated treadplates and a stunning interior. The scale model is set on a gloss-black base mounted on a plinth — with the display case, it’s almost a metre long.
