The New Balance 327 is definitely the brand’s sneaker of the year, with countless 2020 colourways and special editions all having been snapped up instantly upon their release. The year isn’t over, though, and two new special collaborative collections, namely with household denim brand Levis and London-based streetwear brand Aries, are set to drop this November.

The New Balance x Levis 327 collaboration introduces three new styles – two in men’s sizes and one for women – which all include denim on the upper in addition to the usual suede and nylon. The men’s sneakers feature denim in indigo blue and muted grey respectively and are paired with contrasting shades, while the women’s style features light blue denim with shades of white. Both feature the eye-catching red signature Levis tab hanging next to the big “N” logo. The insole also features the wording “Levis for feet” printed as a hidden message, while the leather strap on the shoe tongue is unique to this particular 327 collaboration.

The New Balance x Aries 327 forgoes retro ’70s styling and instead pays homage to a more casual, classic ‘90s style. Offered in all black or all white, the collaborative 327 features a full leather upper with a gum sole, going without the use of nylon and suede. Reflective highlights can be found on the upper and shoelaces and the red Aries logo can be found inside the N-shaped logo, on the tongue and at the back.

The New Balance x Levis 327 and New Balance x Aries 327 collections will be available in Hong Kong on 10 November and 6 November respectively.
