The Classics Return
Codemasters F1 2017

The latest version of Codemasters’ official Formula 1 racing simulator is set for release this summer. While the game will officially hit the market on August 25 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC and currently is only at the pre-order stage, the developer has released the first trailer to show us some of the classic content that will be featured in the game, the first such inclusion since 2013’s much-loved iteration.

The classic cars include the 1988 McLaren MP4/4 driven by Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna, the 1992 Williams FW14B as raced by Nigel Mansell and Riccardo Patrese, and Rubens Barrichello/Michael Schumacher’s  2002 Ferrari F2002. A total of 12 historic race cars will be included in the game and the full list will be revealed in the coming weeks. The iconic cars will be available to play in several modes, including online multiplayer and time trials. Other than the standard cars, drivers, track layout and visual upgrades, there will be a deeper, ten-year Career mode, and a new ‘Championships’ mode among other new online and offline features.
