The Boosted Drone Kit
Hasselblad A5D & DJI M600

Following Chinese drone-maker, DJI’s investment in Hasselblad in November last year, the duo have just announced their first jointly-produced product; a drone with a 5 km range which uses the same 50 megapixel CMOS sensor as fitted to Hasselblad’s new mirrorless medium-format X1D camera.

This fully integrated hi-resolution aerial photography bundle is made up of Hasselblad’s medium format camera A5D-50c and DJI’s M600 industrial drone. The A5D uses a modified HC 3.5/50mm-II lens with the focus locked on infinity and carries a sensor twice the size of the best current 35mm DSLR cameras. It is capable of capturing high-resolution images exceeding most professional or industrial requirements. The M600 boasts DJI’s Ronin-MX gimbal, the A3 flight controller, and the Lightbridge 2 HD transmission system. It’s paired with the DJI GO app for checking both live streaming and flight data. The M600 has a maximum payload of 6 kg which allows it to fly the 4kg camera, lens and gimbal package with ease. The bundle pricing is USD$25,999 / EUR€24,400 / CNY¥189,999.
