Taking The GTC4Lusso Off-Road
GlasWerks Elevato V12 Rally Car

Ferrari off-road builds are rare in the market, but turning a V12 grand tourer into a custom rally machine is something else entirely. GlasWerks DMV Special Operations has stepped into this territory with Elevato, the company’s first bespoke build series and an ambitious reinterpretation of a modern Ferrari.

The foundation is the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, selected in its naturally aspirated 6.3 litre V12 form. GlasWerks takes the standard 681 hp and 700 Nm grand tourer and transforms it into something far more extreme. Months of development have produced the Aurora Commission, the first completed Elevato example, which now delivers more than 750 hp to all four wheels. Advanced four-wheel steering and a reworked All Wheel Drive system allow it to tackle all surfaces, blending supercar performance with genuine off-road capability.

Achieving this required far more than a simple lift kit. More than 30 per cent of the vehicle’s components have been redesigned or replaced, including suspension parts, axles, CV joints, and tie rods. Wheel travel increases to more than eight inches, while nine inches of ground clearance ensures the Elevato can handle terrain a stock Lusso would never attempt. Custom three-way adjustable dampers keep the chassis composed, and an integrated onboard air system developed with Apex Designs allows the driver to adjust tyre pressures or power accessories deep in the wilderness.

GlasWerks has also paid attention to detail inside and out. STEK protective films can be applied to shield the bodywork, while hand-stitched interiors and configurable switchgear give each build a tailored, expedition-ready feel. The example shown here is also equipped with auxiliary lighting and modular roof-rack systems, preparing it for a bespoke journey into the wild.
