Take The Moonlight Home
1.625 m/s2 ( moon, sun )

Looking at the moon has a humbling, and yet effusing calm and tranquil effect on a person, and the latest work by Japanese designer Hiroto Yoshizoe ‘1.625 m/s2 (moon, sun)’ draws heavily from these qualities. This piece of lighting equipment is almost installation art.

It does not have its own specific source of light, but bejewels the light around it, forming moons floating in the air. These rotate freely with different ratios of light and shadow, showing different states of the moon, and serving as gentle rays of light in the dark.
