To celebrate the partnership between automakers and watchmakers, a common practice is to create a special edition watch between the company. It is very rare that the collaboration would result in a new car branded with the watchmaker’s name. Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and TAG Heuer Edition created a limited 50 samples only to celebrate this unique partnership.
The TAG Heuer Edition is more of a visual update on the DBS Superleggera introduced last year, yet the makeover does give the model a slightly meaner look and a completely new spirit. The exterior features the luxurious Monaco Black paint with carbon fibre accents. The all black appearance is complemented with red brake calipers, Pirelli Colour Edition Tyres with red trim, and a well-concealed red TAG Heuer badge on the front fenders. The cabin continues with the all black theme and is adorned with red trims and red TAG Heuer logo on the seats.
Underneath the new colourway is the same 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that generates 715hp and 900Nm and goes from 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds before reaching the 340km/h top speed. Each exmaple will also comes with a special edition TAG Heuer watch.
