Supercars On The Silver Screen
‘Film Emotions – Lamborghini and the World of Cinema’ exhibition

There have been quite a few signature film moments for Lamborghini since the 1960s. The automaker is now hosting an exhibition inside the Lamborghini Museum, located at the brand’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, that showcases most of its classic models featured on the sliver screen.

The cars inside the ‘Film Emotions – Lamborghini and the World of Cinema’ exhibition are not the exact examples used for film but an identical model. Lamborghini’s filming history began with a Miura appearing in The Italian Job in 1969, then a Countach in 1981’s The Cannonball Run. Hollywood blockbusters such as Rocky IV saw Sylvester Stallone driving a Jalpa, and of course we can’t ignore the LM002 driven by Vin Diesel in Fast And Furious 4, whereas both Aventador and Murcielago appeared in the Batman film series, in The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark Knight respectively.

Other Lamborghinis included in the exhibition include the 350 GT from Bar Sport, the Huracan from Doctor Strange and the Gallardo Super Trofeo from Italian Race. The exhibition is open daily from now until 31 October 2018.
