Pagani Huayra is the current heartthrob of the boutique Italian automaker that gets all the attention, but let’s not forget what a wonderful supercar the older Zonda once was. Despite production for the Zonda ending a few years ago, Pagani is happy to take back any old example and give it another life.
The one-off Zonda Fantasma Evo began its life as the first right-hand drive Zonda F, leaving the factory in 2005. It experienced a major car crash in Hong Kong in 2012. The remains were sent back to Italy and it was reborn as the aptly named Zonda Fatasma. Recently it was sent to Italy again for more body work, including a red carbon fibre body with pinstripes, a new hood and an overhauled rear end with enormous wing. And of course, a new title. The Zonda Fantasma Evo features a naturally-aspirated 7.3-litre AMG V12 engine with 760 hp output, which is same as other Zonda 760 models.
