Step Up The Waterproof Game
The North Face Futurelight Collection

Shopping for outerwear can always be tricky. While you may look for a jacket for a specific activity or weather, a few requirements are always essential, such as being waterproof, breathable and light. The North Face is one of the experts in this specific sector, and once again it has changed the game with the launch of the latest Futurelight collection, featuring waterproof jackets, pants and bibs that are soft, light, flexible, comfortable, durable and sustainably designed. Gone are the days that waterproof product means uncomfortable, heavy and stuffy.

Futurelight is The North Face’s self-developed proprietary technology born after requests from athletes and multi-year development. Futurelight fabric is created by nanospinning process, and the nano-level holes offer incredible breathability while staying completely waterproof. Keeping sustainability in mind, the face and backer layers of the three-layer garments are made up of 90 percent recycled materials. The technology also allows the brand’s designers to adjust weight, stretch, breathability, durability and more during the process for different activities and wearers.

The Futurelight launch comes with three series. The Flight Series is created for runners and trekkers and focuses on offering the best breathability. The Summit Series is designed for high-altitude expeditions, while the Steep Series is best for conquering deep snow and steep lines in the backcountry and make sure the wearer stay dry inside and out. The Flight Series and Summit Series are now available in the store and the Steep Series will hit the shelves on 28 October.
