While aerial photography has become more common these days thanks to drones, capturing outstanding photographs remain a challenge. Greek architect Costas Spathis combines architecture and aerial photography to record the beauty of the sea and cities from above with exquisite timing. His work centres on symmetry; boats and roads appear in soothing pure, perfect order. Regarding a colour palette, his work favours tones of blue, black, white and brown, which bestows his photos with a sense of vintage.
