Sneak Peek
A first look at the Takashi Murakami ✕ Off-White collection

Back in February, Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami and American fashion designer Virgil Abloh co-created an exhibition dubbed “FUTURE HISTORY” during London Fashion Week. Then in March, Louis Vuitton’s newly appointed creative director launched his solo exhibition at Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo. But the collaboration between those two didn’t stop there, as the duo has announced the Takashi Murakami x Off-White (which was founded by Virgil Abloh) tote bag collection that will arrive in the coming months.

Although the release details for the collection have yet to be announced, one of the retailers that will stock the collection “Cherry Fukuoka” has leaked the product shots on its Instagram and given us a glimpse at what’s coming up.

Judging from the leaked product shots we believe that the collection will consist of four tote bags, with each of them featuring Murakami’s eye-catching graphics and Off-White’s signature white arrows logo. Meanwhile, the words “FUTURE” and “HISTORY” can be seen from the side profiles of the bags, which is a nod to the duo’s exhibition in London.

Stay tuned for more information to come.
