Slim d’Hermès Watches
Hermès’ first range in over 20 years.

Hermès is a house that’s better known for luxurious leather goods and fashion than timepieces, but this year, the French company has unveiled Slim d’Hermès — a line of watches for both men and women that’s its first series in over 20 years. Luxurious and elegant, but also refined and minimal in design, the watches feature slender stainless steel or rose gold cases, a luminescent dial with custom numerals by renowned French graphic designer Philippe Apeloig, as well as a sapphire crystal case back that reveals the ultra-thin automatic movement manufactured by the venerable Swiss watchmaker Vaucher.

In typical Hermès fashion, each watch also features a hand-stitched strap made of alligator, calf or Barenia leather, all of which display the same attention to craftsmanship and detail as their iconic handbags. A combination of creativity, craftsmanship and modern function, the Slim d’Hermès range exemplifies the beauty of simple design and is a welcome return to the world of watches.
