At the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in 2014, Zagato, on the occasion of its 95th anniversary, created the Lamborghini L595 Coupé as commissioned by collector Albert Spies. The special model was based on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera, and it appears that Zagato has already developed a roof-less version of the 2014 model.

The Zagato website has matter-of-factly included the roadster and captioned it as “2018 – Lamborghini – L595 Zagato” without any further elaboration. From the image, the 2018 roadster has a slightly different engine lid in addition to the drop-top, while the lime green body also gives a fresh look.

It is logical to assume this roadster will be officially launched during this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, taking place on 25 to 27 May this year. We will also find out if it follows the coupé’s specs, featuring a 5.2-litre V10 engine delivering 570 hp and 537 Nm of torque with four-wheel drive.
