BRABUS Shadow 900 Deep Blue Signature Edition / Shadow 300 Edition One

German tuner Brabus is well known for its work in beefing up Mercedes-Benz and Smart Car vehicles, but what’s less widely known is that the Bottrop-based company has a stout marine division too — together with Finnish boat builder Axopar Boats, over the last few years, the tuner has launched a handful of stunning high-performance powerboats. For 2022, Brabus Marine is releasing a special Deep Blue Signature Edition of the Shadow 900, and the brand new Shadow 300 Edition One.

The Shadow 900 flagship range is powered by twin Mercury Marine 450R 4.6-litre V8 four-stroke racing engines that provide a total of  900 hp and allow for a top speed of over 60 knots. There have been several variants in this range, and the latest Shadow 900 Deep Blue Signature Edition is all about the evocative colour scheme. The boat’s deep blue 38-foot hull is complemented with carbon fibre accents and platinum upholstery and has a capacity of 12 people max, while the social space onboard can be enlarged thanks to the new lounge option with sofa-style seats with armrests and more sunbeds.

The Shadow 300 Edition One, on the other hand, is an agile day boat at just 25 feet long, meaning it can easily be transported on a trailer. Powered by a single Mercury 300R V8 racing engine, it’s able to reach over 50 knots without forsaking stability or handling. The Shadow 300 Edition One includes a spacious multi-stowage compartment for water sports equipment. A swim ladder and a water ski pole can also be equipped. The cabin comprises a double bed, toilet, and freshwater system, while optional fridge and sink units can be added under the boat’s front seats — what more could you need for a day out on the water?
