Vespa scooter can be said as one of the public’s favourite items when talking about vintage style. The well received appearance has been turned into a modern jet ski by Pierpaolo Lazzarini of Lazzarini Design.

While most jet skis are bulky in shape, Lazzarini has completely adopted the sleek silhouette of the Vespa 50 Special and just transformed it into a water vehicle. Lazzarini imagines the body would be  made of fibreglass entirely and paired with a self-balancing system. While Jet Vespa is still in the concept stage, Lazzarini has already envisioned two engine formats with prices: the electric 39hp engine version would costs US$25,000; and the one powered by a 39hp 330cc twin stroke engine would be priced at US$19,000. Both versions would be able to sail with a maximum speed of 32 knots (60 km/h).
