Alfa Romeo has chosen the 2026 Brussels Motor Show as the stage for one of its most exclusive creations to date: the Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa. As the first tangible product of the brand’s partnership with the Luna Rossa sailing team, it is not merely a special edition, but the most aerodynamically advanced and technically extreme Quadrifoglio ever built.
The transformation begins with a bespoke carbon-fibre aero package engineered through Alfa Romeo’s Bottega Fuoriserie programme. Working in unison, the front flicks, underbody profiles, side skirts and dramatic dual-profile rear wing generate up to five times the downforce of a standard Giulia Quadrifoglio. At 300 km/h, the Luna Rossa produces an impressive 140 kg of aerodynamic load, while maintaining remarkably low drag thanks to meticulous airflow management. The flagship 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 remains at 520 hp, paired with a mechanical limited-slip differential, but the added stability and cornering precision delivered by the aero package represent the true performance leap.
Visually, the Luna Rossa edition celebrates Italian craftsmanship and competition heritage. Its hand-painted iridescent silver finish mirrors the metallic sheen of the Luna Rossa AC75 hull, contrasted by a “boat-deck” black bonnet, roof and tail. A red side stripe and bespoke red Alfa Romeo crests underscore its limited-series status, while 19-inch wheels with red inner highlights complete the exterior package.
The collaboration is even more evident inside. Sparco seats are trimmed in materials inspired by the crew’s personal flotation devices, while the dashboard features an authentic insert cut from a Luna Rossa sail. Carbon-fibre detailing, Luna Rossa emblems and bespoke graphics reinforce its identity as a collector’s piece rather than a mere variant.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio Luna Rossa is limited to just ten examples worldwide, all of which are already spoken for.
