Richard Mille RM 63-02 World Timer
Designed for frequent flyers

Since the International Meridian Conference that altered history in 1884 and 24-hour system that was subsequently established, we’ve grown accustomed to a world divided by time zones. For frequent travellers, however, keeping track of the various divisions can often be a tricky — and inconvenient — task, which is where Richard Mille’s RM 63-02 World Timer comes into play. Designed for frequent travellers and similar individuals, this luxurious, yet functional timepiece draws from the design of the RM 58-01 Tourbillon World Timer that first wowed consumers thanks to its easy to use multi-time-zone mechanism. By removing the need for a pusher in activating the time zone function, the RM 63-02 World Timer follows the RM 58-01’s lead by incorporating the World Timer function at the heart of a brand new automatic in-house movement.

This  RM 63-02’s notable features include a rotating bezel in satin-brushed and polished grade-5 titanium that’s mounted on ball bearings for easy manipulation, and can be turned according to the desired time zone. When the name of the wearer’s current city is positioned at 12 o’clock, the RM 63-02 automatically defines the local time — along with the time in 23 other cities around the world — thanks to its graduated 24-hour flange. This blue and white disk distinguishes nighttime and daytime hours, automatically incorporating the correction hour by hour, while the bidirectional bezel interacts directly with the heart of the in-house CRMA3 caliber-driven movement, and ensures the water-resistance of the case to 30 meters. In short, it’s a must-have for any world traveller, as well as the growing number of global citizens who appreciate the design and mechanics of finely-crafted timepieces.
