With Cyberpunk 2077 being the talk of the gaming world despite all its gory glitches, different aspects of the game are still getting plenty of attention regardless. One of the areas that caught our eye is the various vehicles offered in the game. The CD Projekt Red design team referenced real-world classic vehicles from the 1970s to the 1990s, and added in 50 years worth of projected technology advancement. Inspiration can be seen from iconic American muscle cars and classic European sportsters, with retro and futuristic elements combined to created the incredible cars in Night City.
Automotive designer Leyang Bai has jumped on the bandwagon to create his own concept car for Cyberpunk 2077. Paying homage to the Ferrari 312P — the fierce race car seen competing at the 1969 and 1970 Le Mans — the FerRAR.exe concept shares the same silhouette as the retro racer, but the details have been infused with the unique style of the game. For example, the smooth curves have been replaced by angular lines, and plenty of additional elements, such as the jet-like details at the back and the active aerodynamic components, have been added. Being an unofficial concept, we won’t be seeing this machine cruising Night City any time soon, but it’s still nice to see designers using the controversial title as worthy inspiration.
