Space Transformation
Revolve Foldable Wheels

While the space problem (or the housing problem) has been an issue for many countries and households, it has also become a leading inspiration for designers to come up with practical solutions. Case in point is the Revolve foldable wheel created by German designer Andrea Mocellin, which aims to open new frontiers for foldable vehicles.

The Revolve wheel features a unique hexagon structure that provides a robust and iconic design when open or closed. When closed, it occupies 60% less space (from 665mm to 260mm). The Revolve can be used in all conditions and is easily stored at home, in a backpack, in a trolley or trunk and even in an airplane overhead baggage compartment. It is compatible with most bicycles and wheelchair designs as well as every mode of transportation using large bicycle wheels. The Revolve wheel looks to transform both space and time for the traveller and commuter.
