Revived In Three Versions
New Stratos goes into production

The legendary Stratos is returning to the production line. Even though it is not officially built by Lancia and is limited to 25 examples only, three versions will be available for customer’s selection, namely the road going supercar, GT racing car and Safari rally version.

The glorious Lancia Stratos of the 1970s was revived as a one-off in 2010, named the ‘New Stratos’. Developed by Michael Stoschek, chairman of the Brose Group and his son Maximilian and originally built by Pininfarina, a shortened Ferrari F430 Scuderia chassis was used to create the tribute car. Paolo Garella, who was the program manager of the New Stratos project and later founded his own company, Manifattura Automobili Torino, has come to an agreement with Stoschek to build the New Stratos as a limited edition.

The Italian company is behind some of the most outrageous supercars of recent years, such as the Devel Sixteen and Apollo Intensa Emozione, and aims to boost the 500 hp New Stratos one-off to deliver over 550 hp. The three versions of the New Stratos will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show.
