Revisiting The Special Piece
Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner

Bentley is paying tribute to their founder Walter Owen Bentley with the newly launched limited  Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner. The sedan celebrates the 1930 8 Litre, the last model design by the founder which he also personally used.

The Mulsanne W.O. Edition is limited to 100 examples. The automaker went back to Mulliner, who designed the body of the 1930 car, for adding an additional flair that reflects the Bentley story. The elements from the limited edition can be applied to the standard, long-wheelbase or Speed versions of Mulsanne. The most significant design element can be found in the cabin: each of the 100 examples holds a slice of the crankshaft from W.O.’s 1930 personal car, and the unique piece is displayed through the drink cabinet between the rear seats. There is also the sketch of the Bentley 8 Litre on the cabinet top.

The interior is decorated with four types of wood, leather and Fireglow lambswool rugs for keeping the luxurious feel and the Art Deco style, with various areas featuring the signature of W.O. Bentley. For the exterior, a chrome strip can be found on the hood, while chrome grille and surrounds come as options. These are paired with special edition badging and Beluga Black wheels and customers can specific the body colour among other customisations. The limited edition will be debuted at Monterey Car Week in August.
