Australian photographer Warren Keelan is smitten with the beauty of the ocean and loves using photography to reveal its most impressive and expressive moments.

Keelan believes waves are the ocean’s most attractive characteristic as they are ever-changing; each moment is unique. The waves’ different facets exhibit how the mood of the ocean changes from moment to moment. Keelan uses a digital camera with a custom waterproof over-under flash along with sunlight and even a rainbow to depict the ocean as energetic and robust, or subtle and calm, but never predictable; the results are mysteriously attractive.

Warren Keelan is indeed writing a personal diary for the ocean, keeping an extraordinarily detailed visual record of the infinite face of its nature.
