Designers Pablo Baranoff Dorn and Alex Guliyants have created this electric motorcycle that aims to make people think about traditional styled motorbikes again. The Electric Cafe Racer is a prototype developed for Denzel and inspired by the Honda 125cc Cafe Racer.
The project was designed from scratch referencing similar models that share the Cafe Racer aesthetic. There is a display console for showing battery levels, voltage and energy on top of the where the gas tank would be on a gasoline motorbike. On the side where the Denzel logo is badged, there is a small storage area for the driver’s personal items.
Denzel claims that they will build the Electric Cafe Racer with a full carbon fibre frame and 7500 W mid drive motor powered by 2088W lithium battery, offering a maximum speed of 100 km/h and a range of 120 km. Denzel targets to launch the electric bike early next year and is now taking pre-orders.
