Former members of the UK Special Forces have formed a group called “Special Forces Issue”, with the idea of creating something to commemorate their Special Forces service. After several discussions, team members chose to build a customised Rolex Milsub as a respectful homage of their service.

The limited edition “Desert Issue” DI01 custom Submariner features a subtle bead-blasted case with a tactical “Desert Sand” coating and a custom rubber continuously graduated 60-minute bezel with luminous markings in place of the original. The “Submariner” script on the watch’s face bears the same Desert Sand colouring, with the hands now a customised sword set. Additionally, each watch has unique individually numbered case back engravings and comes with three extra straps in a waterproof pelican case.
